Romain Grosjean has praised Haas F1’s first half of the 2017 season, with the American outfit already matching its points tally from last season before the summer break. The team enjoyed a strong debut campaign last year which saw it finish eighth in the Constructors’ Championship with 29 points, and now with an arguably stronger driver lineup since Kevin Magnussen replaced Esteban Gutierrez, it is clear that the team is in a better position to challenge the rest of the midfield.

As both Grosjean and Magnussen have managed to rack up 29 points in the first 11 races of 2017, the Frenchman is impressed and believes that the momentum that the team has carried from 2016 to 2017 is a result of the team “growing up.
