12:59 – New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Las Vegas have all shown interest in hosting a second Grand Prix in the United States, according to Formula 1 CEO Chase Carey.

Adding another US race to the calendar has been one of Liberty Media’s main goals since the media firm completed its takeover of the sport back in January.

Carey, installed by Liberty as F1’s new CEO, says he has held talks with the aforementioned destinations, but is not willing to expand any further at this stage.
