14:36 – Renault development driver Oliver Rowland says Super Formula is an option for 2018, though has hinted at staying in Formula 2 to “avenge” his 2017 result.

Rowland stepped up to GP2/F2 in the wake of taking the 2015 Formula Renault 3.5 title, and classified ninth with MP Motorsport, before moving across the DAMS for 2017.

Rowland outlined his ambitions to fight for the title but, with Charles Leclerc running away with crown, slipped to third in Abu Dhabi, having been excluded from the Feature Race win.

Rowland is set to meet with Team LeMans – which guided Felix Rosenqvist to third overall this year – as he explores Super Formula as an option, though it is not clear whether he will partake in the upcoming test.
