7:12 – Sauber should be in a position to announce a new Team Principal “soon”, following Monisha Kaltenborn’s exit, according to Team Manager Beat Zehnder.

Earlier this week, Sauber owner Longbow Finance announced that Kaltenborn had left the team “by mutual consent and due to diverging views of the future of the company”.

Several names have been linked with the role, including former Formula 1 team bosses Colin Kolles and Frédéric Vasseur, though Sauber is remaining tight-lipped.

Zehnder, speaking at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where he is overseeing operations alongside Technical Director Jörg Zander, expressed hope that the situation will soon be resolved.
