Although Daniel Ricciardo is “pretty pleased” with his 2017 season, he is hoping to give it a “proper crack” next year.

Barring a disaster at this weekend’s season finale in Abu Dhabi, Ricciardo could finish this year’s championship fourth in the Drivers’ standings.

That, however, is by no means where he wants to be.

Keen to have a shot at the World title, the Aussie is hoping that Red Bull and engine partner Renault get it right next season, offering him a “proper crack” at the title.

“There’s been some great races. Obviously, I would love all 20 to be great and not all 20 have been,” Ricciardo said.
