The young F1 sensation Max Verstappen should stay at the Red Bull Racing long term and build it around him, reckons team principal Christian Horner.
Max has been linked with both Ferrari and Mercedes beyond 2018, Daniel Ricciardo looks set to become a major player in next year’s driver market as he will be in the final year of his existing deal.
But Horner feels Verstappen will be outshined by the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel who are firmly in the long-term picture with their respective teams.
