Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo has said that the middle finger he showed to Haas F1’s Romain Grosjean in the second practice session was just something he did in the “heat of the moment.”

The Australian speedy was left displeased following Grosjean blocked him near the start/finish straight, ruining his flying lap.

Ricciardo answered by giving the Frenchman the middle finger, but Grosjean claimed on team radio that he was told too late that the Red Bull car was incoming. However, the 28-year-old says it was just a heat of the moment thing.
