Last year Max gave a masterclass in the Brazilian wet race. He worked his way up from P16 all the way to the podium in the closing stages of the race. One opponent after the other was demoted on the wet tarmac.
“It is of course nice to be back here in Brazil, but to be honest, I am no longer busy with last year’s race actually. It is now 2017, that was 2016,” says Max in a very down to earth manner.
