Haas believes it has a 50/50 chance of winning its appeal against Romain Grosjean’s disqualification from the Italian Grand Prix two weeks ago. After the race, Renault lodged a formal complaint against the American team, believing its car to be illegal.

An investigation took place and it was determined that the car’s floor did not comply with regulations. Haas appealed the disqualification, which prevented them from moving into fourth place in the constructor’s standings ahead of Renault.
