Ferrari customers Haas will receive the Italian outfit’s latest turbo upgrade at next month’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Scuderia Ferrari ran the update for the first time at last week’s Canadian Grand Prix, spending two engine upgrade tokens to make the change. They are expected to bring further engine upgrades to Britain although Haas will not run them.

“We have looked at it and we receive the upgrade for Silverstone,” said Haas team boss Günther Steiner . “Extra power is always welcome.”

“It represents a nice step forward, relatively speaking. How big progression will be, you should always fighting against the cars around you, but it’s an improvement,” he said.
