Honda is looking good for an engine upgrade this weekend in Baku. Last time out in Canada, the Japanese manufacturer was hoping to get an upgrade in before the race weekend but it didn’t come to light.

Honda has struggled massively this season in terms of speed and reliability and their relationship with McLaren currently lies in tatters. Honda’s F1 chief Yusuke Hasegawa confirmed that an upgrade will be made to the combustion engine in Azerbaijan.

“There will be some kind of improvement in the combustion engine in Baku, he said. “I don’t know if you can call it specification three, but we’ll definitely introduce something even if it is intermediate.
