10:02 – Ferrari Chairman Sergio Marchionne says that the arrangement between the manufacturer and Haas is “completely different” to the one it has now forged with Sauber.

Haas entered Formula 1 in 2016 and uses Ferrari power units, gearboxes and other components, and also ran reserve driver Antonio Giovinazzi during seven FP1 runs this year.

Sauber, meanwhile, signed a deal to link up with Honda for 2018 but this was cancelled by new boss Frédéric Vasseur, who renewed the team’s Ferrari partnership, returning to current-year power units.

Sauber announced last week that Alfa Romeo, part of the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles group, will act as title sponsor, with its branding to feature prominently on a revised livery.
