Charlie Whiting has declared that the relationship between Haas and Ferrari is “completely legal” amidst suspicions from rivals.

Force India and McLaren recently questioned the relationship between the two and whether Haas are receiving more from Ferrari than permitted.

Under F1 regulations, Haas can receive engines, gearboxes, suspensions and other listed parts, however, they have to design their own car.

And with the VF18 build as a “replica” of the Ferrari by Fernando Alonso, rivals are questioned whether more is being exchanged between the two.

The FIA, though, have no concerns.

“We know exactly what’s going on between Haas and Ferrari, which is completely legal,” said FIA race director Charlie Whiting.
