Although some days Romain Grosjean walks away from race weekends feeling F1 is “frustrating” and “unfair”, he says he not ready to hang up his helmet.

The 33-year-old will remain with Haas this season having agreed a one-year extension with the American outfit.

It was, however, touch-and-go as to whether Grosjean would retain his seat.

One too many incidents with his team-mate Kevin Magnussen led to speculation that team boss Guenther Steiner had had enough and was considering dropping Grosjean, replacing him with Nico Hulkenberg.

In the end, though, Steiner opted to stick with what Haas knew.
