Sergio Perez missed out on the upgrades at the Russian Grand Prix, but expects to have them at his disposal come the Eifel GP.

Perez’s team-mate Lance Stroll received the Racing Point upgrades first for the Tuscan Grand Prix since he was ahead of Perez in the Drivers’ Championship.

But after the Canadian driver crashed during Formula 1’s first race around Mugello it was a race against time to have the new package available for both Stroll and Perez at the Russian Grand Prix.

And sadly it was a race which Racing Point lost.

But that didn’t seem to deter Perez much who qualified P4 for the Russian GP and finished there, capping off a fantastic weekend for the Mexican.
