Pirelli, Formula 1’s sole tyre supplier, has announced the tyre choices the F1-teams have made for the German Grand Prix. At the eleventh Grand Prix of the season, the drivers have at their disposal the medium and soft tyres. Pirelli will also bring along the ultra-soft compound to the Hockenheim circuit. This means that they have skipped the super-soft tyre.
The drivers from the three top teams have all gone for seven sets of the ultra-softs, except Daniel Ricciardo. The Ozzie has opted to run on eight sets of the softest compound tyre.
